Austin police said this morning that a woman is in critical condition after the car she was a passenger in crashed into a wall of northbound Interstate 35 near 46th Street about 2:30 a.m. All lanes are now open, police said. The roadway had been closed while crews investigated the crash.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with critical injuries, Sgt. Richard Stresing said. It is unclear whether the man driving the car received any injuries, Stresing said.
Police are still on the scene investigating the crash
