A motorcyclist was killed Monday in a single-vehicle wreck in South Austin.
Verdun Boone, 59, was driving south in the 7000 block of Woodhue Drive at about 3:20 p.m. when he lost control of a 2000 Harley-Davidson on a curve, according to the Austin Police Department.
Boone was thrown from his vehicle.
He was taken to University Medical Center at Brackenridge, where he was pronounced dead.
