Police Officer Enters Plea

San Antonio, Texas -- A San Antonio police officer killed a colleague and injured another motorist last November in an car wreck. Today he pleaded no contest to manslaughter and aggravated assault charges.

Officer David Seaton agreed to surrender his peace officer's license and faces a 10-year prison sentence.

The Bexar County district attorney's office said this was Seaton's first felony.

The traffic accident that occurred at Potranco Road and Hunt Lane in San Antonio.

Rookie Officer Robert Davis was killed after suffering massive head injuries.

The driver of the other car, 21-year-old Darrell Lampkin, was hospitalized for several weeks.
