Fort Worth Car Wreck Kills Two

Fort Worth Personal Injury Lawyer

FORT WORTH — Two people were killed early Saturday while driving toward downtown Fort Worth when their car struck a guardrail and rolled down a hill, police said.

A sport utility vehicle was traveling northbound in the 1800 block of U.S. 287, when it struck a guardrail and rolled into the median between 287 and Lancaster Avenue.

The 25-year-old male passenger was ejected. The 22-year-old female driver was found dead inside the vehicle, strapped in with her seat belt.

Police could not say Saturday whether excessive speed or alcohol played a role in the accident, although a container possibly containing alcohol was found at the scene.

The names of the victims had not been released Saturday.
