ARLINGTON -- Traffic was moving again before 3:30 p.m. Monday after the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 were closed because of a crash involving a motorcycle that went off a bridge and onto the lanes of the highway.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured when the vehicle went off a bridge on Texas 360 and landed on the Interstate highway below, a police spokeswoman said.
The driver was transported by helicopter ambulance, but there was no condition available on the motorcyclist.
Police temporarily closed the westbound lanes of I-20 while investigators and cleanup crews worked at the scene.
The accident was reported shortly before 2 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the interstate near Texas 360.
