ARLINGTON -- An Arlington man died Monday after he was ejected from his motorcycle and fell from the Texas 360 overpass bridge onto Interstate 20, police said.

Douglas D. Trimm, 41, had driven his motorcycle from I-20 northbound onto the overpass about 2 p.m. when “for an unknown reason” he lost control and was ejected, said Tiara Ellis Richard, an Arlington police spokeswoman.

Trimm fell into the westbound lanes of the interstate, she said. His motorcycle continued down the overpass before coming to a stop in the grassy median.

Paramedics took Trimm to Methodist Medical Center in Dallas where he died at about 3 p.m., she said.

It was Arlington’s 18th traffic fatality this year
