Emergency personnel used special tools to remove the passenger side door of the station wagon and extricate an 8-year-old girl trapped near the front seat. CareFlight Air Ambulance transported the girl to Cook Children’s Medical Center.

Two other juvenile females, 6 and 8, were located in the rear of the Subaru. Both were treated at Cook Children’s Medical Center.

The driver of the pickup reportedly suffered minor injuries but was released at the scene.
